Direct Care Counselor
The primary role of the Direct Care Counselor is to work with Exodus clients in the residential setting and community and to assist them as needed in nearly every facet of day-to-day living. Responsibilities include:

- Working as part of a team to carry out each client's Individualized Service Plan
- Teaching skills to clients by modeling appropriate actions and responses
- Assisting clients with self-help skills, such as dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Training clients in the activities of daily living
- Preparing diet-appropriate and nutritious meals
- Housekeeping
- Assisting with self-administration of medication
- Recording and maintaining various logs and reports

One to two years of experience in residential programs for the developmentally disabled is preferred, but we also hire and train individuals with no experience. Position requires criminal record clearance and physical/TB test.
The Direct Care Counselor pay rate is $8.50 per hour to start with an increase to $9.00 per hour in six months after meeting training requirements. Candidates with Direct Support Professional-Year 1 Certification start at $10.00 per hour; those with Direct Support Professional-Year 2 Certification start at $10.50 per hour. The overnight rate for all levels is $7.50 per hour for 9 pm to 9 am, with overtime paid per wage and hour regulations. |

Assistant Program Manager
The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for providing direct care to Exodus clients and for assisting the Program Manager in the day-to-day operation of the home. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: |

- Implementation of the clients' Individual Service Plans
- Appearance and welfare of the clients
- Modeling appropriate interactions with clients and staff
- On-the-job supervision and training of staff in the absence of, and as directed by, the Program Manager
- Recording and maintenance of various logs and reports
- Assisting with self-administration of medication
- Housekeeping
- Menu planning, grocery shopping, and other errands
- Transportation of clients to doctors' appointments and outings

- Direct Support Professional Certification—Year 1 and Year 2
- Sufficient training hours per regulations
- Good driving record as verified by a DMV report and approved by Exodus' insurance company

The Assistant Program Manager is a full-time, non-exempt direct care position with a pay rate of $12.00 per hour.
Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for the management of an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) for six developmentally disabled individuals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: |

- Implement the clients' Individual Service Plans
- Direct supervision and training of direct-care staff
- Communicate with parents and day programs
- Clients' medical appointments and prescriptions
- Quarterly reports
- Liaison with the Regional Center and Community Care Licensing
- Schedule staff and meetings
- Maintain the facility and grounds

- Minimum of three years of direct care experience in residential programs for the developmentally disabled, including direct care and staff supervision
- Direct Support Professional Certification—Year 1 and Year 2
- Sufficient training hours per regulations

- Weekend and after-hours on-call availability
- Ability to successfully complete 35-hour training course and State test, required for obtaining an Adult Residential Facility Administrator's License
